Commercial renovation questions

Can my business stay open during the renovation?
We phase the work to keep your business running with as little disruption as possible, and agree the schedule with you before work starts.
Do you handle permits for commercial spaces?
Yes. We manage permits, strata approvals where they apply, and inspections with the RMOW end to end.
How is a commercial renovation priced?
Our projects are typically cost-plus: the final cost is based on actual invoices for labour and materials, plus a fixed fee. It keeps pricing transparent and means you never pay for a contractor’s risk buffer.
What do you need for a consultation?
Access to the space is the most useful. Existing plans or property information help but aren’t required, and we’ll ask for anything else we need during the consultation.
What areas do you serve?
We’re based in Whistler and primarily serve the Sea-to-Sky corridor, including Whistler, Pemberton and Squamish.
First Conversation
We start with a direct conversation about your project — what you want to build, your budget range, your timeline, and what the site or space involves. This lets us quickly determine if we're a good fit and what a realistic path forward looks like.
Scope & Agreement
We document the full scope of work together and structure a pre-construction agreement. This defines priorities, cost structure, and what each party is responsible for — so there's no ambiguity before work begins.
Design & Planning
Depending on the project, we coordinate with architects, designers, engineers, and key trades to develop a complete plan that fits your vision, the site's constraints, and the BC Construction Code requirements. Getting trades involved early avoids surprises later. We manage those relationships so you don't have to.
Permits & Pre-Build
We handle permitting end to end — coordinating with the municipality and strata if applicable. A detailed schedule is confirmed before construction starts.
