Kitchen renovation questions

How much does a kitchen renovation cost in Whistler?
Most mid-range kitchens land between $80,000 and $130,000. High-end custom millwork, integrated appliances and premium stone can push past $200,000. Moving plumbing or walls adds to any number. We give you a clear picture after seeing the space.
How is a kitchen renovation priced?
Our projects are typically cost-plus: the final cost is based on actual invoices for labour and materials, plus a fixed fee. It keeps pricing transparent and means you never pay for a contractor’s risk buffer.
Do I need a permit for a kitchen renovation in Whistler?
Structural changes, plumbing moves and electrical upgrades require permits from the RMOW. We’ll tell you what your scope needs and handle the permits, strata approvals and inspections for you.
How long does a kitchen renovation take?
It depends on the scope, cabinetry and material lead times, and permits. We give you a realistic schedule with the estimate, and if anything changes we tell you right away.
Can you work with my designer?
Yes. We work closely with trusted design and architectural firms and can connect you with the right fit. Our team is also trained in CAD drafting and can provide design support when needed.
First Conversation
We start with a direct conversation about your project — what you want to build, your budget range, your timeline, and what the site or space involves. This lets us quickly determine if we're a good fit and what a realistic path forward looks like.
Scope & Agreement
We document the full scope of work together and structure a pre-construction agreement. This defines priorities, cost structure, and what each party is responsible for — so there's no ambiguity before work begins.
Design & Planning
Depending on the project, we coordinate with architects, designers, engineers, and key trades to develop a complete plan that fits your vision, the site's constraints, and the BC Construction Code requirements. Getting trades involved early avoids surprises later. We manage those relationships so you don't have to.
Permits & Pre-Build
We handle permitting end to end — coordinating with the municipality and strata if applicable. A detailed schedule is confirmed before construction starts.
