Challenge
Two advanced systems, one build
ICF and SIP were still uncommon in Whistler residential construction at the time. Getting both right on the same project — precision-formed ICF for the foundation, SIP panels from the walls up — required a level of technical discipline that conventional framing doesn't demand.
Solution
ICF and SIP for a high-performance envelope from the ground up
ICF foundation for thermal efficiency and structural strength. SIP panels reduced thermal bridging and shortened the framing schedule.
