Custom home with an artisan staircase and a high-performance airtight envelope
Brief
Challenge
Complex multi-material exterior. One airtight envelope.
Stone, wood, metal, stucco, and cement board across the same envelope — every material transition is a potential air leak.
Solution
1.15 Air Changes per Hour
Siga membranes and tapes were used throughout to hit 1.15 ACH50 on the blower door test. To put that in context: typical new construction scores between 3 and 5. Passive House certification requires 0.6. At 1.15, White Gold sits well inside what most dedicated energy projects achieve.

Results
Technically excellent and beautifully crafted
White Gold exceeds energy standards and showcases extraordinary craftsmanship framing one of Whistler's best mountain views.
